Doug Hughes is a veteran programmer who
founded Alagad after briefly flirting with a career in computer animation.
Doug has a strong record of achievement with large, complex web applications.
His ability to learn and apply new technologies and techniques has helped Doug become one of the web application
development industry’s most highly regarded experts.
Doug’s current focus at Alagad is leading an application development team dedicated to helping organizations improve operational efficiency and performance. This commitment to client success has helped Alagad achieve record growth. A frequent speaker at industry conferences and user groups, Doug also regularly contributes to several well-known open source projects. In addition, his articles have been featured in numerous technical publications.
Randy Miller’s program oversight ensures
that Alagad’s development teams optimally manage project costs and
timelines, as well as provide the highest degree of communications and
service to customers. His background includes more than 20 years experience
managing multi-million dollar projects with major automotive interiors
manufacturers, where his leadership resulted in numerous major project
awards. Randy’s focus on profitability, growth, customer satisfaction
and new product development serves as the catalyst for sustained company
growth, which he enthusiastically brings to Alagad.
Scott Stroz specializes in developing
and deploying enterprise-level web applications, as well as integrating
new programming features into older applications to help organizations
achieve growth by migrating data management to advanced web technology.
His experience with web application development technology spans nearly
a decade, during which he was named an Adobe Community Expert. Scott
excels at completing unusual, complex and challenging tasks, and he
embraces new technology and its possible inclusion in current and future
projects, earning him the title “Chief Problem Solver.� Scott is
recognized as an industry expert through his speaking engagements at
conferences and user groups and contributions to a number of technical
publications.
Ezra Parker has been developing with ColdFusion since 2000, starting with version 4. He enjoys tackling and solving challenging problems, and focuses on building user-friendly and highly-performant web applications. He is currently the Associate Director for the Model-Glue framework, and serves as the Co-Manager of the Inland Empire ColdFusion User Group.
Vicky Ryder began her I.T. career as an MCSE certified network engineer, eventually working her way up to a managerial position. While serving in this role for a major financial publishing corporation's Washington, D.C. office, Vicky taught herself ColdFusion and developed applications that improved workflow up to the corporate level. Her most notable application garnered a regional Advancement of Technology award. Since joining Alagad, Vicky has broadened her knowledge of Social Media with a focus on Social Media Marketing and currently leads Alagad's own Social Media Marketing efforts.
Chris started dabbling with Coldfusion on version 4.5 Express Edition,
and has since gone on to achieve Advanced Coldfusion Developer
certification. He started in IT for a small town consulting firm, and
11 years later joined Alagad as a full time developer.
Layne is an accomplished programmer with years of experience working
for major corporations on all ranges of programming tasks. Layne has an
entrepreneurial spirit which he brings to everything upon which he
works.
With more than a decade of application development experience, Matt LeGrand is a valued and integral part of the Alagad team. Matt is an accomplished User Experience Specialist whose primary focus is developing Rich Internet Applications using Adobe Flex and AIR technologies. Matt's avid interests in Human-computer interaction and interactive media research serve to enhance his work in ways that set him apart from that of the average developer. In 2008, Matt was justifiably recognized as the 360 Flex Design Challenge winner.
Matt holds a Masters degree in Marketing from the University of Alabama, and his resume boasts senior-level positions with esteemed companies such as Cynergy Systems and Artemis Solutions Group. Matt is a community minded individual who has provided a number of open source tools and simulators. He has a special interest in Flash multi-touch technologies, and he also enjoys developing applications around music.
Matt is an avid track and field guy who runs anywhere from two to twenty miles per day and has participated in at least one NCAA Cross Country Championship. Most importantly, he is about to become a new father. Matt is a definite asset who greatly enhances any activity in which he takes part.
